Thank you

Thank you for responding to the "What do you know?" section for Teamwork.  I have received your submission and will respond to it within a few days..

Correct Responses

Here are my responses to the questions you just answered.

  1. List the steps in the nominal group process?

    (1) Silent idea generations, (2) Round-robin sharing of ideas, (3) Feedback to the group, (4) Explanatory group discussion, (6) Individual re-assessment, and (7) Mathematical aggregation of revised judgments.

  2. How is Integrative Group Process different from Nominal Group Process.

The two are very similar.  Both postpone evaluation, both ask team members to rate ideas, both repeat idea generation and discussion, but not everything is the same across the two approaches.  Integrative Group Process solicits ideas from team members before the face to face meeting.  Nominal Group Technique does so at the meeting.  Because of this difference, Integrative Group Process allows more time for free form discussion of ideas.  .

  3. Of all the techniques you have learned here, which process or component of the process you can use in your project groups. Why? Be specific for why are you preferring one approach to another. Why do you think one approach is more useful than another?

Almost any response to this question would be ok.  I was hoping you would select components of Integrative Group Process (e.g. meeting before the meeting).
