Lecture by Cameron Schlehuber
discusses import and export to VistA.
The lecture has four components. It starts with exporting data
from patient file to ASCII text file, and end with data created in
Excel, transferred to ASCII and back into the patient file.
In the second part of the lecture,
standardization of data and use of import and export features to
recreate standardized data.
The third part of the talk includes a
discussion of converting to HL7 standardization.
The fourth area is the use of XML in file
manager in VistA for transfer of data.
