Linda Randolph MD, PPHLinda A. Randolph is a public health pediatrician and senior executive with over thirty years of experience serving in Federal, state and local governments, academia, private philanthropy and not-for-profit organizations. Dr. Randolph, a native Washingtonian and a 20 year resident of Harlem and Albany, NY, is widely recognized for her leadership, commitment and sensitivity to the complex needs of low-income and underserved populations. She is known for her work to eliminate racial/ethnic disparities in health and building upon the strengths of families and communities to effect health policy. Dr. Randolph is the recipient of numerous awards for her significant contributions in the field of maternal and child health, including the American Public Health Association’s prestigious 2001 Martha May Eliot Award, honoring exceptional achievements and 2008 elected membership to the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences. She holds several adjunct professor appointments and in 2009 received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from SUNY-Albany. She is a graduate of the Howard University College of Medicine and the School of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley.
